GPT doesn't really know what your real function is. It's up to you to describe it however you want. So you can imagine and design a function that encompasses both real functions you actually have, and pass documentation for that imaginary function. OpenAI will return function arguments for the whole thing, and then you can split them however you want and call both functions.
