### XournalPP - Hand Written Note App for Linux Tablets
[XournalPP](
https://github.com/xournalpp/xournalpp) is a good hand writing app for Linux Tablets. It should not be confused with "Xournal" without the "PP". XournalPP is much more advance.
XournalPP can be used for things such as:
1. **Taking Notes** (of course)
2. **Annotating PDFs**, which puts the annotations in a separate file, without modifying the original PDF.
3. **Doing Homework Assignments**, which can be exproted to a PDF and turned in electronically.
To install the latest version on Ubuntu based distros, you can install the XournalPP official PPA repository:
```
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:apandada1/xournalpp-stable
sudo apt update
sudo apt install xournalpp
```
