When I see people complaining that Zoom (which I've never used) is changing its terms of service to make all uses of its service subject to being used to train AIs I wonder where these people were in 1649 when the Diggers occupied land in order to live and cultivate it on the principle that the earth doesn't (and shouldn't) belong to anybody and so should be available to all to make their living from.

Because if you can't see that these things are related you are suffering from a serious deficiency in ability to join the dots.

Capitalism does not exist to make your life better. It exists to exploit your life. And it will do so until or unless either you or it is eradicated completely.
