Good episode. I was in Samara in 1991 during collapse. No one knew anything was going on - due to state media not reporting - until we heard about the tank that fired on govt building in Moscow. Then there were a lot of puckered assholes, but no violence in the streets that I can remember. At least that was the case in Samara.
