I keep seeing adverts for AI things that will summarise lecture content so you don't need to listen to it. But... We have that already. Summaries, flash cards and textbooks exist. They're fairly freely available. Literally free if you know how.

AI will add nothing to that except significantly higher energy/water consumption and emissions, with the occasional misfire or hallucinated factoid. And they'll probably start charging you or bombarding you with horrifying advertising for the privilege.
