What is "the great filter" ?

It's painting with a broad brush to say "people don't care about each other" and "people don't give a fuck." Really depends on the people.
I say everyone should give a fuck about and get to know themselves first. Only from there can we know what we're looking for and to contribute to externally, through love and action.

All that said, I'm also unsure what place social media has in my life. Seems it mostly gives me the illusion I have more going on than I actually do.
