I am confident that this fall there will be a push to move to AI bots attending classes as an accessibility aide rather than providing students who need one a human notetaker -- "so much cheaper/more efficient."

I'm concerned about the compulsive nature of this. How do we balance very real accessibility needs & the inadequacies of our current solutions with other students' & faculty rights to not have every single utterance documented permanently, cloud stored, & used as an AI training bank?
