If good social care requires consistency of care (so carers get to know their clients & their clients get to know them), then the 25% annual turnover rate in social care staffing with 10% departing the sector each year, suggests that the 'magic bullet' to start to solve social care's problems is ensuring that staff pay & conditions are much better.

That's not an easy task but neither is it impossible given political will.... are Streeting & Rayner up to it?
