Built a 10m dipole this morning, thought it might be better than the OCF dipole with tuner... 1:1 and the SWR needle hardly even quivers on transmit. Don't discount single band dipoles! Cost: $0.00 (three pieces of scrap PVC pipe and some free wire I salvaged from somewhere). Plus a SO-259 connector liberated from an old non-working CB radio. Snagged Vietnam on it (from California), new country, sideband. #antennas #hamradio
