You don't need to die on any hills.
Jesus Christ died on the last hill.
You don't need to take marching orders from random people on the internet.
Jesus will lead you where you need to be.
You don't need to personally vanquish the evil you see in the world.
You need to be complicit with your humble role in the arc of salvation history, granted to you by Jesus.
Your mission may be to drive the spear through the heart of the dragon. But more likely your mission will be much more humble: to be to give hope to a child, to teach a friend, to care for an elder, or to create something inspiring.
You aren't strong enough to make a difference on your own. But Christ's mission is your freedom and He will make His enemies His footstool.
You need only stand still and allow the Lord to act.
If you have never done this, it will seem foolish, insane, idiotic, useless.
If you have, then you know you are at your most powerful when you surrender your ambition, your will, your hopes, your sorrow, your fear to the King of Creation.
Not only are the enemies of freedom under the vengeful eye of God, but doubly so are the enemies of those who call upon God's name.
The freedom we desire may not come in our lifetimes. But the freedom we need is available in this very instant.
Jesus, I trust in You.
