This is absolutely conspiracy tin foil talking, but back when Epstein went down and suddenly all the evidence collected from his estate disappeared into the Barr-led, Trump-controlled DOJ, I was predicting we would see lots of strange bedfellows in the future, lots of people formerly opposed to Trump now suddenly one hundred percent behind everything he says. It was obviously going to happen.

There's a scene in the movie Training Day where the crooked cop played by Denzel goes to visit an old friend, for the second time that day. The first time the friend tells him he's almost ready to get the fuck out of dodge with his stash. The second time he visits, he kills the friend and steals all the money he had been hoarding, by proxy at the direction of the police higher-ups.
