翠星石 (npub1x2v…ar98) it's a compromise since gym is open 24h and they have to have SOME security to only allow gym members at night.

Plus the surveillance aspect isn't really that much of a technology problem since during the day there's still staff that could have been keeping a physical journal of people entering and leaving even without card system.
