One thing that makes sense in hindsight but was unexpected was not being able to see any posts made by the Threads profile that were made before I followed. Which means if you take a look at a profile to see if you want to follow, you can only judge from the bio and not the actual content (without going to Threads). I guess it should be possible so I wonder if it's a Threads, Mastodon, or ActivityPub thing...
