A challenge would be how to enforce ‘topics’ without moderation, and ending up with ToS-style list of do’s & dont’s. Relays as themed hubs is an interesting concept but lots to figure out, I’d suspect feature-oriented relays are more appropriate starting point, especially given relays cannot be opinionated on what messages it receives.
