I've always had mad respect for the guys who maintain the Linux image for our work laptop (don't remember what distro right now). It's basically a Yammer group with a couple of guys doing pretty good work. But I was never even tempted. Being the "Uuuum sorry, have to re-schedule the meeting, Teams stopped working on my Linux" wasn't my ideal, plus most of the non-office360 kind of work was done on Linux machines anyway.
