So I'm trying to reinsall macOS High Sierra on an old MacBook Air. Did the typical Cmd-R to boot into recovery mode, but it's impossible to reinstall macOS. It won't install unless it can connect to a "Recovery server," which Apple no longer runs.
Trying Internet Recovery now, but, this is some planned-obsolescence bulllllllllshit.
