#OTD 8 August 1900 Francis Theodora Thoren, a distant cousin, was born to Charles Thoren and Hilma Janson of Negaunee, Michigan. She died of scarlet fever when she was only 11 years old. Her christening dress was preserved by her family and later donated to the Marquette Regional History Center by her brother, Clarence.
