They started imposing a politically motivated "Code of Conduct" to prevent "harassment" within open source projects, with a complete list of language that is prohibited not only within the project spaces, but in many cases outside the project as well.
So if you criticize troons on your private social media, you will get kicked out of the open source community. In some cases people were banned from projects for supporting Trump. That's all that was necessary to get kicked out.
So Open Source is censoring and policing people's private lives. At least most of the major projects, such as the Linux kernel, GCC, LLVM, etc.... I think most of this is coming from Red Hat which was pozzed with troon ideology a while back. Around the time GamerGate started and these CoCs started getting imposed on everyone.
