I was watching some updates on the divorce rates in China going even further up while marriages continue to drop (It is financially nearly impossible to get married as a man in China and it is a huge risk for women because they have diminished rights). As the narrative talks about trends coming out of this such as an extreme decrease in birthrate, the narrator was talking about women not marrying anybody and alone getting IVF with donor sperm. I am fine there. Then it continues with saying just by the way that many might instead choose surrogacy for 'higher quality offspring'. I mean they do not even try to make it sound all bleeding heart sweet and shit, they are finally allowed to say what they mean as NOBODY seems to mind! No upset in comments, except mine over the slavery of women who have no choice as they need money (or are pimped to it by their partner, let´s be honest) and no worry about human trafficking of the baby either. Our society is so screwed up.
