🌲Fæġer Mæġden🌲 (npub1g0u…3vfw) I feel like YWNBAW was just capitalizing off a trend which was already existing for decades by that point. At the very least, weird inscrutable initialisms (like the aforementioned ISHYGDDT) have been annoying me persistently since *at least* 2010, and probably the only reason they didn't earlier was because I spent most of my childhood internet time on Wikipedia which is reasonably immunized to such things by design.
