Phoenix is great and there's still plenty to do to catch up to some of it but here's some comparisons:
We work in the web browser and dont need permission from Apple or Google to host our app. On boarding is just a click away.
On chain payments or receives are temp custodial on Phoenix. They don't use atomic swaps for them and are in control of the funds temporary. We are separating on chain balance from lightning balance until we get splicing towards the end of the year.
Right now we have a single LSP provider but want to open that up to anyone. Our LSP helps give receivers privacy (writing a blog on this now).
Stuff like Nostr Wallet Connect as the first non custodial mobile wallet to integrate it. There's a lot of places we can go with this from here. Like payment requests, gifting, subscriptions, etc. It is far more powerful than just zaps. All while staying non custodial. Other nostr integrations will be coming as well.
First iterations of the wallet may just seem like a normal lightning wallet but we've got a ton of plans around the integrations of services and interactions around it.
