So I don't think work per se is the problem, rather it is what we label as work, and employers are prepared to pay for. Though I notice directors get handsome pay for doing very little, and then expect a bonus even when they have bankrupted the business. E.g. Post Office.
Oh and keeping people ill is gov policy, to reduce NHS spending, & employing professionals!
