Today, I needed to look at some code that was once hosted on CodePlex, Microsoft's code sharing site that closed down in 2017.
I can't look at said code. The Internet Archive version doesn't work because there's a JavaScript pop-up that interrupts the user flow.
I'd be less annoyed about the fact this code is now 404ing if it weren't for the fact it's Microsoft. And we sort of have to trust them to be good stewards of GitHub, despite the rather bad example of CodePlex.
