every non-spent output is an UTXO, but most of the txs are a 2in 2out with lots of fake-signers, so at first glance the utxos dont have an immediate history to tell. But its still and UTXO, its still univocally identifiable and still someone can correlate spendings and follow utxos flows in the blockchain.
Utxo management should be a thing even on monero, some wallets integrates it, but they are a minor part.
