Mando season 3: was there a gas leak in the writer's room or something? God, this season was terrible.
(Terrible by Mando standards, still better than the prequels.)
Second, aurebesh. I'll admit I've come around to all the on-screen writing being displayed in it, it helps sell the alien-ness of the setting. But like. You really could have done a better job and I'm annoyed that you didn't. You have infinite money, you should have gone with a conphabet that's actually good.
Like, The Fifth Element did this pretty well, actually (unsurprising, as it did just about everything pretty well) -- the unfamiliar script on the police helmets (e.g.) was still scannable to someone familiar with Latin glyphs, but was also unfamiliar while being plausible.
If you're going to go with replacing *all* the on-screen text with your English cipher, you really ought to make it at least scannable with some effort to the intended audience. Otherwise there's no reason for the on-screen text to say anything at all, you might as well do a Bluey.
