If you look at how very few Tories are doing any media at all, and Sunak seems to be doing the battlebus completely on his own; they might bitch a bit about the date, but they definitely are not behind their party leader. I think Sunak did it to avoid another PM leadership challenge, as well as the recognition the party is a busted flush on every policy. Feels like it’s a single person party - Sunak - in Coventry - isolated from all party members, meetings and ideas. #UkPol
