Interesting chart shows (among other things) - projected worldwide power demand of data centers. Worldwide power generation is currently around 29,000 terawatt-hours. Chart does not show residential and commercial (non-IT) power usage.
Concern: we are building a lot of new datacenters in the US. Datacenters need power 24x7 (not just when the sun shines or the wind blows). Where are we getting the additional power?
