Finally got so fed up with Windows that I installed Arch on my laptop (without the help of archinstall so it was a good learning experience). Gotta say, KDE Plasma 6 has blown me away. A few annoying defaults I had to change (e.g. floating panels as a default) but such a great experience coming from Windows 11:
