I love how podcasts bring interesting people to my awareness. When I was on Twitter I developed a rewarding habit:

1. Listen to a podcast episode
2. Look up all the people on it and referenced in it
3. Find and follow many of them on Twitter
4. Learn more from them and sometimes converse with them

Step 3 on Mastodon tends to be a big ZERO, so step 4 doesn’t happen :(
