I've been making these star blankets with acrylic yarn since they're gifts for littles so it needs to be super easy care. On top of that acrylic yarn is very affordable which makes it easy to stomach for our household budget.
Now I want to make these in 100% wool and make them available to purchase here on nostr to hopefully help bring in some income for the home. Wool is a wonderful natural fiber and I know many of you prefer it.
I'm hoping someone can help me get the first one made so I can tune some final details. The price will be 149k sats (approx $125) and is a very discounted price. Based on my math so far, future blankets will be around 270k sats (approx $225)
It is an incredible deal for a hand made wool blanket. And I'd be super grateful for your help.
This is the gist of how it'll work. You send me a private message and say you want to buy a blanket. I will send you the yarn colors that are available and a lightning invoice to pay. I've put together some color combos that I think are nice that you can choose from, or we can choose whatever colors you like. Once you pay the invoice, I will place the yarn order and when it arrives (usually a week) I will start working on it and keep you updated as I go. When it's done, I'll ship it to you with tracking information.
I'm not gonna limit myself to making just one in case more than one person wants to take me up on it or one person wants me to make more than one. More data points means more tuning and a better final product.
