As in one can download the app and join, there's a large selection of content languages, a significant number of non-English speakers too, but still not an option for most people. Full disclosure, I got a direct invite, not from the waiting list, so I cannot comment on that.

That said, the way the Fedi is the only option for so many people on a global scale only increases the necessity of making it a more welcoming space.
