I think folks need to understand that brown people are often not seen as human beings by the people that perpetrate heinous or otherwise unsavoury/inappropriate acts against brown people. It’s not some honest misunderstanding.  It’s targeted and intentional. Only psychological deprogramming will help these people and they are not interested. Same pretty much goes for LGBTQ+ folks. The malice is intentional and targeted. Violence against both groups is seen as not only viable, but laudable.
