You have doubts about whether I am a person without empathy. I can sense your doubts. The truth is that you will never know the whole truth. We think we know others, but we are actually deeply mistaken. It’s like congratulating someone on their birthday, believing you are surprising them, but in reality, that person doesn’t even know when their birthday is, and no one remembers it; their birthday in their passport is fictional. Knowing someone is entirely an illusion. To perceive me as lacking empathy is a good sign. What matters is who we are when no human can distinguish what we truly are
