Boone, NC officials have confirmed that 62 members of the Pennsylvania Amish community have completed the construction of 12 tiny homes in Western North Carolina.
The total cost of the project was over $300,000, all of which was donated by the Amish community.
This comes as 3,500 families are being cut off of FEMA Hotel Shelter Funding as a brutal winter storm hits the area.
