my actual serious advice on how to move from SAD ( Standard American Diet ) to Optimum Nutrition.
1 - eat more animal foods, fewer plant foods
2 - with plants focus on Vitamin C, followed by Fiber, you do not need starch and avoid sugars and above all avoid Omega-6 seed oils.
3 - protein quality difference between animals and plants is overblown. you should avoid plant protein to avoid xenoestrogens from soy and farting from beans, not because the protein is inferior ( any fiber will make you fart ).
4 - with animal foods make sure you fats are all 100% grass fed. my whey protein is regular ( not grass fed ) but it contains no fat. my ground beef and my whole milk are both 100% grass fed.
5 - with plant foods watch out for xenoestrogens ( peanuts as bad as soy for example ), omega 6 and various toxins and anti-nutrients.
6 - you can skip plants completely and just take Ascorbic Acid ( Vitamin C ), but then if you have to eat in public setting your body won't know how to deal with it, so i suggest consuming a small amount of plant foods with a focus on Vitamin C ( Essential Nutrient ) and to lesser extent Fiber ( Non-Nutrient Satiety Filler ).
