I’ve always wondered if the big boys (the BlackRocks and Jamie Dimons) were intentionally keeping the price down.
It never really made sense to me. Especially since they get off the value of the fund. They should want the price to rip.
But I get it now. Dimon’s “authorized participant” move reassured this.
They’re not worried about the price. They’re worried about the supply.
If the price rips, people start buying and further tightening the supply.
