#macOS #Sonoma question: Why does this control randomly show up? (It’s the Bavarian flag because I use my own keyboard layout.)
The strange thing: I did not use the Mac when it showed up. I was talking with my son, with `while sleep 1; do tput clear; tmutil status; done` running in iTerm2 when my peripheral vision noticed something showing up.
I did not touch the keyboard at all. Not even the Mac.
It just showed up.
