Oven is now at 375F, still no popped corn.
Stack Exchange folks said it doesn't work in an oven (even conventional) because you need a sudden heat that would turn the water inside the kernels into steam and build up enormous pressure.
The oven does turn it into steam, but gradually and not enough pressure builds up in the kernels for them to pop.
But I had to test it.
