The NHS has the longest waiting lists in my (quite long now) lifetime. Hundreds of people queuing just to *register* with a dentist, for hours. I might live another 25 years. Even if we had the best, most forward-thinking government ever, I don't think I'll live to see Britain get back to where it was 15 years ago.
