On touch-capable devices we don't launch the (new) web player in a popup window but rather a tab... but then realized that there are a lot of non-tablet devices we were detecting by mistake by relying solely on navigator.maxTouchPoints
I recall we put in that logic because otherwise iPads would bring up a new tab each time the popup player was launched?
