I might be NB but never going to be comfortable using they/them on someone else because it feels like I am the fucking racist aunt at the funeral who wants to say racist things but doesn't wanna be caught saying n*gger or sp*ck or F*g or retard so they just say -THEM-. that othering you know -THOSE- people.
Look I'll still do it I once had a black recruiter ask me to call him a N*gger. Hard R no a's and I did only because he specifically requested it. (This was obviously a gag test to see if I was to chicken shit to actually do it and yes I did even if it make me SUPER uncomfortable.)
So I'll stomach it if you ask me too but I'm never gonna feel good about it because it feels like I'm dancing around some kind of slur.
