Frances reactors were state-funded no one is talking about using that as a funding model.
Our local new nuclear power station, funded by China, cost £40bn so far, that's at least €45bn and the cost will be loaded onto customers for 30 years (maybe 40 they are thinking of increasing it as cost go up). The cost is 3x we are paying for renewable electricity and index linked.
It is disingenuous to compare the French energy costs with these new planned reactors.
