Today's Ant of the Day is Santschiella kohli. You know about Gigantiops destructor, remarkable sight-hunting ants with huge eyes who can jump, they have few close relatives. Santschiella kohli is their closest cousin. These ants are from DRC and also have huge eyes, although they are much smaller and harder to notice.
