The main one I'm trying to make is that collective guilt for individual actions is nonsense. So is trying to hold someone responsible for every opinion held by someone they kind of, vaguely, share one opinion with (eg IDF genocide is bad, or Hamas atrocities are bad).
But this raises the second; I'm not trying to claim the IDF and Hamas are just as bad as each other. The IDF are objectively worse, by several orders of magnitude. But that doesn't mean we let Hamas off the hook completely.
