One more thing: the Democrats are going to have an “open convention.” That’s just a fact. The delegates will vote on the nominee. No one will have any control over their votes. Anyone who wants to seek their votes can do that. When it’s over, no one will be able to say that the nominee was chosen in a back room by a cabal.
But that doesn’t mean they should have a bloody, contested convention.
