I'd say the single most unbelievable failure of human morality and ethics in this pandemic, by an order of magnitude, is the collapse of infection control in healthcare facilities.
There is, simply, *no excuse for it*. Doctors can only offer vague evasions as to why they refuse to protect their patients, all of which collapse under even the slightest scrutiny.
Every one of them should spend the rest of their lives volunteering to treat Long COVID patients for free.
