I was in Sainsbury's today. Got a few things, thought sod it I'll use the auto-checkout. Didn't work. Tried again. Nope.
I told the attendant to open a real checkout & she put in a call. 5 minutes later, still waiting, I gave up and sodded off, abandoning my stuff on the till.
I went to Lidl, where the chap in the queue in front of me offered to let me go ahead of him with my 3 items. Then the woman in front of him said the same. I sailed right through with a smile & a thank you all.
