I just sent feedback to a bank, complaining that they shouldn’t send me emails to make a payment when I already have autopay set up. When I hit the Submit button, I got an error message telling me that my feedback can’t contain special characters, like quotation marks and apostrophes. They meant non-ASCII characters.
I edited my message to use " and ' and added a complaint about this stupid restriction. Reminded them it’s 2024.
