Its not just bank statement that have to be reconciled though....its nearly every bal sheet account. How would cash receipts be applied to customer invoices......AP batch payments. - how would they work. Poorly deployed transactional systems would not cope with BTC if they don't cope with fiat transactions without manual intervention. I don't think its a dream, but its a long way off.
