Okay, I've been fiddling with #cosmicde today and figured out the answer to an earlier question. The cosmic-comp (Cosmic compositor for Wayland) configuration file for screens is in `~/.local/state/cosmic-comp/outputs.ron` and if you tweak the file, you need to log out and back in again for effect. This is where display resolutions, positions, refresh rates, and screen enable/disable state are saved.
